How we rank paid porn sites

Why this site exists

Search best paid porn sites and you will get a dozen lists that look independent and are not. The ordering on most of them is the commission rate, top to bottom. The site paying $40 per signup sits at number one, the site paying $25 sits at number four, and the excellent small studio that runs no affiliate programme at all does not appear, because there is no way to get paid for mentioning it.

Nobody tells you that is the rule. The list just presents itself as a ranking.

We started this the other way round. We score first — from prices and terms we read ourselves — and worry about revenue afterwards. Right now that is easy to prove, because we have no affiliate relationships at all. Every outbound link on this site goes straight to the operator and earns us nothing. When that changes we will label every paid link, and the ranking will not move.

The scoring rubric

Five factors, fixed weights, applied identically to all 334 sites in the index. Nothing is hand-placed.

Worked example

Terms transparency carries 25% — more than library size and quality combined — because it is the factor that actually costs you money. A site with a huge catalogue that hides its renewal price will score below a smaller site that prints everything up front, and that is deliberate. The commonest way to lose money on a porn subscription is not picking a mediocre site; it is a $1 trial that silently rebills at $39.95.

This matters more than it sounds. When we first built the index, scores were written by hand and 20 of 31 disagreed with their own sub-scores — enough drift to put Brazzers at the top of a list while its own review said you were mostly paying for the logo. Deriving every score from the rubric removed that entire class of error, and dropped Brazzers from 7.6 to 6.8 in the process.

How we verify a price

This is the part most review sites skip, so it is worth spelling out exactly what we do and do not do.

1. We request the operator's own join or signup page directly — /join, /signup, /tour, /fee — and read the price off that page.
2. We record the effective monthly cost, not the headline. A "$9.95" annual plan billed at $119.40 up front is recorded as $9.95/month effective and $119.40 charged today, because those are different questions.
3. We record the rebill, not just the trial. A $1 trial that renews at $39.95 is a $39.95 site with a discount on the first two days.
4. If the operator does not publish a figure, we print N/A and say so in the review.

What "verified at source" means — and what it does not

The badge on our tables means we fetched the operator's own page and read the figure there. It is a strong claim about provenance and we stand behind it.

It is not a claim that we hold a paid membership to all 334 of these sites. We do not, and we are not going to pretend otherwise to sound more authoritative. Plenty of sites in this industry claim to have "tested" hundreds of subscriptions; the arithmetic on that is around $80,000 a year and almost nobody is doing it. Under the FTC's rules on consumer reviews, saying it when it is not true is also illegal.

Five prices the rest of the web still has wrong

The clearest evidence that reading the source matters: every one of these figures is still being republished incorrectly across dozens of "best of" lists. We checked each against the operator's own join page.

What counts as a site

Competitor lists are padded, mostly without meaning to be. Affiliate networks pay per offer listing, and a single product often ships as a dozen listings, so a list built from a network feed counts the same site many times over.

We check every domain before it earns a place in the index. Out of 373 brands on the standard affiliate lists, 39 turned out not to be separate purchasable products at all:

• Eight "gay sites" are one site. Str8 to Gay, The Gay Office, Jizz Orgy, Drill My Hole, Gods of Men, Top to Bottom, Men of UK and Big Dicks at School all 301-redirect to men.com. No separate join page, no separate price, no separate catalogue.
• Parked and dead domains still circulating on lists years later — several do not resolve at all.
• Aliases and channel filters presented as standalone products.

A shorter, correct list is more useful than a long one padded with redirects, so we publish the shorter one and show our working.

Dormant sites

A site that has stopped publishing but is still selling annual plans is the worst purchase in this market, and it is almost never flagged. We check the most recent release date on every site in the index and apply a −1.5 penalty where nothing new has appeared in twelve months.

Four gay brands currently qualify — Bromo, Reality Dudes, BiEmpire and Taboo Male — while still charging between $87.96 and $119.99 a year. On the trans side, TS Casting Couch bills $44.99 with nothing published since March 2020, and Two TGirls still advertises an update due in April 2020.

What we refuse to do

• We do not estimate. No invented video counts, resolutions or renewal prices. N/A means the operator does not publish it.
• We do not claim testing we have not done.
• We do not let commission touch the ranking.
• We do not run praise-only reviews. Every review on this site lists real drawbacks. A review with no cons is an advert.
• We do not put a subscribe link in a cancellation section. If you have arrived looking for how to cancel, you should get the answer, not a pitch.
• We host no explicit material and describe no sexual content. This is a price and terms comparison site.

Affiliate disclosure

As of 26 August 2026, this site earns nothing. We hold no affiliate relationships, and every outbound link goes directly to the operator with no tracking of ours attached.

We expect that to change — this is intended to be a business. When it does, every page carrying a paid link will say so above the fold, in plain words, before you reach the link.
